Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff at the Stewardship Training Center to construct the bases for covered picnic tables which will be brought out to Willow Brook Farm as part of our improvement campaign (registration required for this work task, some familiarity with carpentry work required) OR continue landscape work around the training center grounds (registration not required for this task, but as always encouraged).
Picnic table construction work will include using drills, lumber and build plans to build bases for the picnic tables. Field work will included trimming, raking, lopping and moving downed branches. All experience levels are welcome!
The volunteer day will last from 10am-1pm. Volunteers are free to come and go as they please. Questions? Contact Stewardship Programs Manager Zoë Smiarowski at volunteer@wildlandstrust.org.
